I remember back in early 2007 I was on a journey to reach some gigantic goals. These goals included tasks such as setting up a home business, and being able to successfully generate income into this home business.
What did I come up with?
After about a year of trial and error I was ready to start doing everything right. Instead of taking a chance, or gambling that opportunity, I decided to think real long and hard. I came up with my own opportunity for only qualified members.
These qualified members would need to have a truck, and basic yard tools.
Yes I set up an opportunity for others to clean up yards and get paid from me. I of course would be making money as well, working the sites and managing the completion of it. For my organizing the event I was usually paid anywhere from 55%-90% of the entire gross.
Before this was even possible for me, I had a vision of setting up my own advertisement business. I wanted to have wireless Internet in the home office and have a few people come over with their laptops and cellphones and start making calls from My Leads. Yes once again I would be providing the work, but collecting the large amount of the pie. This vision did become a reality in the Fall of 2009, when I picked up a few clients. Unfortunately I was the only one who was working these accounts and could not provide the full amount of value in which I was looking to reach.
One of my clients were a landscaping company. I had known landscaping from the previous year, and was eager to help this company get their name out to the city. I posted ads for them on Craigslist, generated calls to my phone number, and ever wrote down the time and day of each task completed. If I posted at 9:34 a.m., I had the time, the title, and the URL to that ad documented. This is what I called my progress report.
After getting the run around about payment and, them dropping the ball on me stating that they did not make as much as they expected to make, I was on my own again, looking for ways to make money in this harsh economy. Surely a few weeks after I broke away from advertisement I started again with Landscaping and Yard Clean Up Services. It's been off and on from Feb 2010 to this day October 2011. I am now venturing back into Internet Marketing, teaching those who are looking to become successful in their home business.
