Mobile Marketing Part 1

Hello World, I remember back in 2008 I would start my blogs off that way. I thought it would be cool to start out again seeing that it's 5 years later and I am still in the marketing game. Right now I am venturing into the Mobile Marketing part of the Internet game. I have been doing tons of research because I want to ensure that I obtain the maximum amount of knowledge that it takes to run a profitable Mobile Website Building business. I have been learning how to create applications and even write some of the html and php code, but have not been able to find the right approach into the business. In this blog post, I will be asking questions that I hope to get answered here on this blog, that way I can have some education provided by those who are already doing the Mobile Website and Application creation business. At the same time I will be providing information on what I have already discovered. I have found out that there are several mobile marketing sites that allow you to create your own mobile websites using their tools and take all the credit for it. This is called White Label Mobile Marketing. With this you can make as much money from as many customers that you want, use their perfect building mobile site building tools, and receive all the credit for it. It is a rather lucrative side of the Mobile Marketing business and is what I am trying to enlist into. Other types of mobile marketing approaches might be to create the sites yourself. This would involve writing your own code, and managing parts of the website to fit appropriate need. For someone who is experience in website building would probably not have a hard time developing a mobile site from scratch. I would also like to learn this part of mobile marketing because it seems to provide more control over the overall creation, and you don't have to pay the fees associated with the mobile marketing service and tools it provides. In this blog I will reveal a few marketing techniques that I've been utilizing on the Internet for the past 3 years in order to generate income for myself. Okay so here it is. The techniques that have earned me over $10,000. 0. Know what industry you are in. 1. Post proper ads online. 2. Answer your phone and set an appointment 3. Follow through on your appointment 4. Establish a minimum amount that you are willing to be paid. 5. Negotiate terms with client, or set official appointment date 6 Show up to work prepared. 7. Do quality work within your niche to ensure customer satisfaction. 8. Collect your money and run. This is one of the best techniques that I have used to establish not only a contact base but a very lucrative client base as well. It all started with my ad that I posted on Craigslist. If it wasn't for this ad, then I would not have my name out in the public for anybody who needs my service to call me. Most of the ads are the same, so I try to create my a little different. Either by throwing in some bold words, colored text, or even pictures. When a potential customer dials your phone number, be sure to answer the phone. Figure out when a good time to estimate the work would be. Once that time is established, record it down in your calender. Be sure to show up at that time. You can give the customer heads up that you are on your way. I set my minimum price for $125, when it comes to yard cleaning. Some people don't want to pay that much, which is okay. I am not trying to work for those low prices, if I want to be successful in my industry. You can always ask them what they were thinking on the price. Many will say like $20 bucks. At that point I tell them to hire a neighborhood kid. If you happen to land the job, Great! Be sure to arrive on the day that you said you would do the work and be sure that you are prepared. Whether you are an accountant, investor, marketer, advertiser, landscaper, affiliate, or whatever. Always be prepared. Never take short cuts. If you wouldn't want employees under you doing it, why would you do it yourself. Cheating is not good, it could lead to more cheating, in which at one point you will be caught. Just play your cards right, do a great job, and you will show that you take pride in the work that you do. Collect your money right after you are done with the work. In some industries you must collect the money up front before doing the work. Such industries are the music industry, or show biz. If you have a business account, you can deposit the funds directly into your bank. Another place you can deposit these funds is paypal. The technique described above is appointment setting by Albert Dutton. This is one technique that will improve your business performance and hopefully place a few extra clients into your portfolio this week. A few other techniques that I use are simple. 1. Follow up with one time customers, and repeat clients. 2. Provide free gifts for your customers such as a key chain, coffee mug, or even t-shirts for their kids. 3. Make pull tab fliers and hang them up at department stores, grocery stores, laundry mats, and events. 4. Hire kids for $5 + pizza to spread fliers around the neighborhood. Following up with customers is important, because they may have lost your contact information. If you call them up, they may remember that they have a task that they were meaning to call you on. You can figure out a price and day from there. Paying a little bit extra for items to give away can really warm a customers heart. They will feel appreciated and spread the word to their friends. Making fliers is great because it is affordable and has a very high ROI. The neighborhood kids need extra money also, and are willing to work for cheap. Make up some fliers and have Jr and his friends passing them out around the neighborhood. You can even order a pizza for them. These are my techniques that I am glad to share with you. So I have been involved with marketing for the past 4 years now. There have been times when I did not know what I was doing, and there were times when I was showing others how to do what they desire to be doing. In fact, I have motivated 3 individuals who mimicked the same business idea that I am about to introduce more to you as we venture further into the year of 2012.

Yard clean up is the business that I am going to enlighten you as well as your wallet with. When you can start a business, invest in the tools that you need, and reuse these materials with no further expense in order to complete task, that pay very well. These tasks will be completed within 2-6 hours, and you will not be as overwhelmed as you would normally be, with your basic 9-5 job. First you need to get some jobs. Here are some tips on how you can expand your yard clean up business intensively in the beginning.

Make Fliers with pictures and Distribute Door to Door ( Get 2 people to help you)
start with 200 fliers then 300 then 400. Distribute in Residential Neighborhoods, Garden Centers, Local Hardware Store and Senior Home Community, Rental Properties, Property management, and Realtors. Ask if you can leave a stack of 25 at their counter or newspaper stand for their customers to take. Don't forget to ask.

When you distribute you can knock door to door if you choose, and hand the fl yer directly to the person. You can approach anybody who is outside and ask them if they need some help cleaning up their backyard of any weeds or tree branches.

Put an ad in the Newspaper offering a discount. This will make your customer feel like they're getting a great deal.

Word of mouth. It takes time, but you can take it up a level more. Ask people in trades such as auto repair, Carpet Cleaning, Air Conditioner, Movers, Plumbers, etc, (people who drive around town providing services around the house for residents) if they can recommend your Landscaping Company for you, if you return the favor and recommend their service. At the same time you can ask if you can leave 25 fliers or business cards and maybe take a few of theirs to show good courtesy.

Ask existing customers if they can refer your company in exchange for a free service or special
discount. Even if they don't generate sales for you, keep your existing clients happy.

Do garden parties, or make a float during a parade. Also going on the radio can help get your name out in one broadcast, a few would be better. Use inserts in newspapers.

T-shirts for your company are very effective. Knock Door to Door when you are in the area performing a job. Tell the person your speaking to, that you are currently doing a job in the area and it wouldn't me to much trouble to have one of the guys come over and quote a price. This would save on anybody having to come out on a trip, cleaning it up, and having to haul it away in the future. I'm sure they would go for it, and be sure to ask if they can refer your company to their family and friends. Word of mouth works great in this business.

Free Newspaper Stands, Slip a few fliers in there when nobodies looking. It's not illegal.

STORES SUCH AS. Garden Centers, Local Hardware Store, Ace, Home Depot, and Senior Home Community, Rental Properties, Property management, and Realtors, Pep Boys, Break Masters, Tire changes, anywhere where people pay others to do the service for them.

Stand two people in front of a store and hand them directly to those coming in.

Walk through a parking lot and speak to those walking about your service, then hand them a fl yer.

You can put flyer's on cars, but this is annoying to drivers, and they will most likely just litter it there in the parking lot.

Never put flyer's in mailboxes this is illegal and is a Federal charge.

Some people take the initiative to join a Home Business to try to expand their income, other work out to try to expand their health. Even I as a Marketer am expanding this new year.

I do think that it's rather ridiculous to have to wait until New Years to gain motivation for reaching your goals. If you ask me, I think people should be focusing on goals and accomplishments all year long. You shouldn't have to wait for the calender year to change.

I've had a few people ask me, what is the point in trying for anything in 2012, the world is just going to end. That is not true, but you should always take the negative off your mind, and make room for the positive. Negative thoughts are not what reaches accomplishment.

For now, I am working on building a .Com for my Yard Clean Up Business. I have been working on new marketing advertisement material, that I've been creating in paint, and am researching new ways to improve.

Where To Market Online

There are many places to marketing your business online. You may want to start out utilizing some of the free sites that allow you to sign up and start posting immediately.

Those who invest in the beginning with out obtaining knowledge of posting advertisement, may be throwing their dollars away. It is always best to get your feet wet slightly when it comes to posting ads online. Get a feel for what it's like to go through the process, add pictures, and even change up the HTML code.

Paid advertisement programs are great since they do get your name out in front of a high paying community. These may be a community of prospects who are interested in your type of service or products. Something that they are familiar with, and may have already purchased online before. The fact is that, it's best to use the money made from the free posting done, into paid advertisement in order to further expand your business.

Other places online to post are Forums, Status Updates, and Link Exchange Sites.

Today is a day where businesses are able to generate large amounts of revenue based on getting large crowds in their stores to participate in great discounted bargains on products. Some people say that the stores are overstocked with certain products, but I think it's a way to get the economy flowing strong for one day.

The economy has tolled on us all. Some in a positive way and overs in not such a great manor. In this economy many new business have been started. For those business owners out there, to make the best of this day, it would be good to offer something for Black Friday. Just because you are not a large cooperation, doesn't mean that you can't benefit from this wonderful day.

Today is one of the best days for sales and marketing.
